- : As far as the rest of the world is concerned, you are stuck with a
- : 2400bps modem. The only good this is that it probably has V.42bis data
- : compression.
-
- USR will allow you to trade-in your old HST modem for a new V.34+ Courier.
- The fee is $249.00 plus shipping and handling and your state's sales taxes.
- If you are *not* a BBS sysop, this is a great way to upgrade your old modem.
- To upgrade, you call USR's BBS, at 847-982-5092 and enter the upgrade door.
- Be sure to have your modem's serial number handy.
-
- PS You do not send in your old modem until you receive the replacement.
